A self-addressed stamped notecard and a  pencil in a ziplock bag is also included in the hopebag.  Whereas the personalized note is a way to give hope and comfort to a person in need, the notecard is a way for the person who needs help to express their needs.

The front of the notecard should have the name and address of the church or organization sponsoring the Hopebags Project.  DO NOT put your name and home address on the postcard.  This could compromise your safety.
The back of the card should explain that the card can be used by them to to write back to you and let you know what they need.  Assure the person you give the hopebag to that you will pray for them and not forget or ignore them.

The person that you give the hopebag to can write their name and their prayer need on the card.
